- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My best friend had MediCal insurance, and was assigned to a doctor at this facility when she became ill. She spent the next 3 years, receiving treatment for consitipation. It wasn't until the pain became intolerable, that I insisted she go to the emergency room at the hospital. It was there she was told there was a large mass of faeces above her abdomen and was diagnosed as having stage 4 rectal cancer. I can't help but think...if the doctor hadn't wasted the last 3 years of her life treating her for simple constipation, rather than persuing a proper diagnosis, they might have caught it sooner, and she'd still be alive. Not much faith in this place, nor did I appreciate watching her being treated as a second-class citizen!August 26, 2017by Dale Downey
